How does Invisalign work?

A special device is used to take digitized impressions of the smile, including the upper and bottom dental arch if both are being treated. The trays are worn all day and night and only removed for eating, drinking, brushing, and flossing. At the end of the two weeks, another tray is used, and patients continue through their series in the same manner. By the end of treatment, the teeth will be properly aligned. Patients can continue to use the final tray at night to maintain alignment, or they can talk to their dentist about having a retainer made to keep their new smile for many years to come!
